- Friedrich’s FreshAire® PTAC system helps achieve ASHRAE 62.1-2013 requirements, and brings up to 52 CFM of conditioned, MERV 8 filtered, outside air into the space. Patents-pending technology uses the inverter compressor and main cooling system to optimize temperature and humidity level of incoming air.
- Precision Inverter® variable speed compressors deliver efficiencies up to 13 EER and a 15 SEER equivalent. Compressors operate down to 20% of rated capacity, or up to 120%, matching the unit output to the actual demand of the space for increased comfort and lower energy consumption.
- Variable speed technology gives you the flexibility of a full line of PTACs with only two models, and offers the highest available capacity of any 42x16 PTAC on the market at over 17000 Btus.
- FreshAire® IAQ is a suite of indoor air quality (IAQ) accessories for use with Friedrich Air Conditioners, all with one dedicated purpose - healthy indoor air. This product includes our patented FreshAire® make-up system and is compatible with FreshAire® Purifier by iWave.
- The variable-speed operation of the FreshAire PTAC allows the unit to work at the optimal speed to match the true load of the room. This not only provides the best energy consumption curve but it also adds to guest comfort by eliminating the harsh start-ups associated with single speed compressors.
- Intuitive unit controls are user friendly with easy-to-read LED display that can show either set point or actual room temperature as selected by owner. Dehumidification removes moisture in cool mode to improve comfort and reduce the chance of mold and mildew growth.
- Modular product design ensures easy access to key components for cleaning and repairs, including washable, lift-out air filters. Surehold Front Cover System securely attaches the front each time. Unit may be installed low to the floor.

Delivery
DELIVERY SCHEDULING & RESCHEDULING POLICY:
Appliance Brokers Limited utilizes third-party delivery contractors. You (or a designated adult) must be at the delivery address to accept the delivery. If you are not home, you will be charged a $150 non-refundable delivery fee. You can reschedule your delivery provided you do so by calling your salesperson at least 48 hours before your delivery date and time. If there is damage to the product you must refuse it at the time of delivery.
Professional installation with delivery:
For your convenience, we provide installation services for an additional fee by Appliance Broker’s third-party contractors, additional fees and any parts required for installation must be purchased. All installations must be done at the time of delivery, or an additional trip fee may apply.
